What we collect

Specora does not require you to create an account. We collect minimal data to keep the site running:

• Analytics: We use anonymised page-view analytics (PostHog) to understand which pages are useful. No personally identifiable information is stored.
• Theme preference: Your light/dark mode choice is stored locally in your browser. It never leaves your device.
• Affiliate clicks: When you click a merchant link we log the product, merchant, and referring page server-side for revenue attribution. We do not log your IP address or browser fingerprint in this log.

Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies for analytics and theme persistence only. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Merchant sites you visit via our links may set their own cookies — their privacy policies govern that data.

Third-party services

• Google AdSense: We display contextual ads via Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve relevant ads. You can opt out via Google Ad Settings.
• Affiliate networks: Clicks on merchant links pass through our redirect layer before reaching the retailer. No personal data is shared with merchants during this redirect.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK, you have rights under GDPR including access, erasure, and objection. Since we hold no personally identifiable data tied to individual visitors, most requests are automatically satisfied. To ask a question, email hello@specora.in.
